The Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder is a digital VCR for the portable video age. Instead of buying proprietary UMD discs at $20 each from a limited catalog, now you can create open digital video files from all your content that you can use on all your devices anywhere you want. Your PSP™ now has access to the world’s full catalog of video titles.
The MPEG-4 Recorder is like an easy-to-use, free-standing VCR that records onto digital memory cards instead of VHS tapes so that the video is playable directly on the PSP™ or other handheld devices.
Here’s how it works. Just plug it into the video-out jacks on any video source (TV cable box, DVR, PVR like Tivo™, VCR, DVD player, camcorder, etc) and hit ‘Record’ on the supplied remote. When finished recording, pop out the memory card (purchased separately), pop it into your PSP™, and hit ‘Play’. That’s it! You can even do timed recording so you can record last night’s “Sopranos" or “The Daily Show” while you sleep or this afternoon’s ballgame while you work. And it’s just as easy to record from DVDs or to digitize your home movies.

The MPEG-4 files produced by the Recorder 2 can be played back directly on virtually any portable device accepting memory stick or CF memory cards.
You can also use it to view recorded video on your TV. Just plug it into the Video-In jacks on the TV and hit ‘Play’. And with your PSP™'s USB connection or an inexpensive USB adaptor/Card reader (not included), you can easily drag and drop content from the memory card onto your computer to play it on your laptop or home PC. The device weighs ounces and fits in the palm of your hand, so you can easily take it on the road with you as your portable digital VCR.
